Rifle Scopes 1.1-8 .1 MIL adjust Leupold?

Side Bar advertisement in the latest issue of American Rifleman has a 1.1-8x .1Mil adjustments. WOW! finally a Leupy with more than 3x magnification. Any one see one at Shot Show?
No info on their website yet. The only thing left to wonder is how ridiculous the price will be.

I played with one for a bit. Rob01 had me distracted at the time. Looked like it was a pretty good set up. I like the knurling theyre doing on some of the new models, and also I liked the adjust for the power. Wasnt too loose or too tight.

My main gripe with em, is their reticle selection. I think Leupold would do well to look into creating a decent MOA reticle. Key word: decent.

I was quite impressed with the new Leupy.Decent spacing between clicks,Knobs not too tall,FFP and Horus reticle for range estimation and holdovers,red dot for up close shooting,reasonably compact size.
Hopefully they've beefed up the internals and made these new scopes more reliable than recent past!

These new generation 1-8's are just about a do everything scope,90% anyways.

I've said it in other threads, but on 8x the eye relief on it sucks ass and also if your head isn't perfectly right behind it, you will see shadowing on the scope. That also is the same for the 5-25x they had at the show.

I forgot to mention that the only thing I noticed that I didn't like was the red dot appeared to flicker in and out if your your eye wasn't perfectly centered in the scope.
