1:13 twist krieger barrels

Anyone running a 1:13 twist 308 with 168 smk? Have a spare barrel that I’m trying to see if it’s worth getting it spun up.

A 1-13” will shoot the 168SMK just fine.

Is this an optimal length to chop this blank to get the most of our 168 smk’s?

The longer the barrel, the faster the bullets go. I’m a long time highpower shooter and have used 30”, 1-13” tightbore barrels forever, 99% with 155gr .30cal bullets at 2970.

I’ve seen a lot of Palma guys running the 150-155 on the 1:13. But was always curious how the 168 smk would do on the same barrel. Thanks!
