I have gotten a tikka lite in 7mm Remington magnum. I want to thread it for my 30 cal suppresor but the barrel diamiter is too small for 5/8-24. The muzzle is .604 at the end. I would rather not have to thread it 9/16 and adapt to 5/8 as its not what is more common. Would 1/2-28 adapted to 5/8-24 be too thin?
