Buy with confidence, just zapped one at 300 with a 175smk from my 16” mws and it didn’t even dimple it.

Got mine today. I’ll bet the mailman is wearing a back brace tomorrow. That $4!7 was HEAVY!!! USPS lost money on that flat rate shipping!

Thanks guys for the feedback. This is some awesome steel for the price. Mill certs show it’s Hardness is closer to 530. It is ballistic certified plate from the mill. Have no fears buying it

Is this 1/4" AR500, I was under the impression that in order to shoot 308 at 100,200, or 300 yards one needed 1/2 "AR 500. At least 3/8".

Thanks for the clarification.

Yes it’s 1/4” thick

I think a few factors helped the steel out...
1- I had it mounted so it could swing freely when struck
2- a 16" LMT MWS flinging a 175 isn't exactly a speed demon

I've since hit it about 40 times at around 400 yards without any dimples or signs of the plate bending....I think for individual use with some distance limitations this is a pretty decent deal. I have bigger heavier targets to shoot with magnums, I wanted the 1/4" to move around my pasture to create a mini unknown distance range for the wife and I to practice on for deer season.

I agree. This is good Reactive steel. The full size ipsc are great for shooting distance but obviously those are tough to ship. The 12” and 66% ipsc are great for shooting between 300-700.

I'm shooting lots of 1/4" ar500 plates. most are 600 + with 6.5cm and smaller- no damage. The ring is very audible, especially for a 22lr at 400yds.

buy with confidence, great seller.

I got some plates from OP last year.
The bigger plates have hundreds of impacts on them and are in hood shape!

I’ve been shooting the 4” and 6” at 200-300yds with 6mm stuff and they also have hundreds of hits without an issue.

I will buy from him again if I need to get more steel.

You guys are cleaning me out. I still have some steel left. Thank you for the orders

Received mine today. Left a $20 taped to my door for the poor USPS guy to help cover his chiropractor bills. ?

Guaranteed you can’t find these prices for AR500 66% IPSC’s anywhere else. Gonna make great pistol targets.

Got mine yesterday as well. Good thing I was home the postal lady said she might not been able to get them haha.

steel looks great, and what a deal. Thanks again

I received my 1/4 in. 66% and 2 diamonds on Wednesday. Heavy package but well taped and not damaged. Of course the targets sound great when hit by 22 LR. but they really ring out with 180 grain 308 subsonics. Lots of fun.

Only 3 -66% ipsc left
Got my steel a while back and couldn’t hold off until I get my property cleared and the range set up. Took one 66% IPSC out yesterday to the natural berm where I’ll be putting the range in this spring/summer and wasted about 200rds of .40 & 9mm at ~10 yards with my brother in law. Great value!
