10/22 build from the ground up

I thought I would try a 10/22 build from the ground up. I bought a Tactical Innovations CH22 receiver, TacSol barrel, bolt from Rimfire Tech, and a Hogue stock. The scope is a Wallyworld $34.95 Tasco 3-9x50 that surprisingly does pretty good. No targets to post of how it shoots but it does pretty good. The whole thing weighs a little over 5 lbs. A good rifle for carrying in the woods.

Yes, it's the VQ trigger assembly. I used high rings so there would be a little more room. Wish I could put an extended handle on it like the Badger. It would make it easier.

I really like the ultra-lights. A rig like that deserves better optics though. Is the barrel free floated, or do you have side pressure in the barrel channel?
