1000 yard range Alliance Rifle Club, Malven Ohio

Re: 1000 yard range Alliance Rifle Club, Malven Ohio

It's a NRA highpower range. No steel can be shot on this range.

600 yd midrange. 1000yd long range and across the course matches.

Guess that leaves about 10 of us out from my area.

Thanks

Why cant you shoot paper? Your bullets not have enough power to punch thru that paper and cardboard?

Yeah, hitting steel is fun, but you will also hear the bullet whack the berm at 1000 too. Not the same, but when you hear that, then see the target come up with an X, thats fun! Would love to have that range in my area. They did a great job with it.

Our local club runs more of a F class type match out to 600 yds. I look a little silly with the only camo gun there but shooting paper I think has helped me with the tactical stuff. I'm not looking for hits, I'm looking for where I hit. Closer to center mass the better. Its all fun. I'll have to try this range this summer.
