Re: 1000
Charter fishing. I know it doesn't sound like work but damn it's hard on the body. Unhooking 100+ halibut a day will tear up the hands. Baiting hooks, untangling lines, unsnagging snags, pounding waves, and... really takes it's toll. By the end of the day my hands are two useless claws. My lower back is shot. I have so many line, fish, and hook cuts on my hands it hurts to bathe. Fishing is good though, averaging 600lbs of fish for a full day "meat run". The last group wanted to keep a lot of cod so over 1000lbs per day. Life is good and the tips are stacking up in my wallet. No time to spend it. I'm going fishing tomorrow by myself, i'm sick of watching other people catch. I don't care if I get skunked.
