105 grain 6MM Nosler Custom Competition?

Re: 105 grain 6MM Nosler Custom Competition?

that BC seems more like a 115 range in my opinion... not saying it couldn't be, But....

haven't shot them and probably won't

105 Amaxes work great and are readily available for me. slightly lower BC, but they shoot great !

Re: 105 grain 6MM Nosler Custom Competition?

Agree with Sendero_man. That is very damn high BC. Even the 105 scenar advertises a BC of only 0.503. The price is not too bad though.

Re: 105 grain 6MM Nosler Custom Competition?

Looks like a fairly long boat tail section, that might be where the high BC is coming from.

Re: 105 grain 6MM Nosler Custom Competition?

Does anyone have a way to check this our for sure. If .593 is the case, than that is a darn good BC for a 6mm bullet. I would give it a try!!!

Re: 105 grain 6MM Nosler Custom Competition?

That sounds a little more realistic for the Berger 105 Steve. I know that Berger recently lowered their advertised BCs. I cant imagine anything under a 110 grain in 6mm going over .560. There are a lot of incorrect BC numbers floating around - even from the manufacturers. I don't think they were incorrect on purpose. For example Sierras .224 77 grain Match King BC is much better than the .372 advertised- it is more on the order of .410 in reality.

How does it shoot? Does it stabilize in a 1x9?

They are advertising it as having a BC of .593. That has to be BS. What BC did it actually exhibit for you?

Thanks. </div></div>

The Nosler has a BC of .517, the Berger Hybrid is .547, Im going to order some of the Noslers today I think.
