11.25 twist?

Will a 308 with a 20" 11.25 twist barrel shoot 178 AMAXs as well as a 10 twist barrel?

Yes. That is the perfect twist for that bullet.

You'll be just fine dude. The M24's 5R barrel has a 1:11.25 twist rate and when using 175gr m118LR we were shooting passed 1,000m consistently. However the M24 has a 24" barrel versus the 20" you're asking about, but then it's just down to your dope and your muzzle velocity being slightly different than mine.
