I was testing a load in my vintage sniper M14 last week and managed to score a 100-6X at 600 yards for 1.2 MOA. If I included the sighter, it would be 110-7X. I scored 6 X's in a row until the wind blew me out of the X-ring. I fought to bring it back in and managed to finish with an X.

Moved to the 300 yard line to get some scope data and I pulled a shot and scored a 99-4X

Also took my scout rifle along and shot it at 200 yards. Scored a 100-5X

Both rifles aren't shooting too bad. I'm happy with them.

Great shooting! What're the specs on the first M14 in your post (vintage sniper)?
LRB M14SA receiver
Lothar Walther heavy ICR barrel
TRW bolt
Unitized (welded) gas cylinder
GI trigger group with Shooting Sight trigger
GI op-rod
Sadlak spring guide
Sadlak vented piston
GI flash suppressor
Hueygunner carbon fiber/ graphite/ kevlar stock, bedded
Basset low picatinny mount
Trijicon Huron 3-9x40 rifle scope

Rifle built and bedded by me.

The M25 Scout is nearly identical. The only difference is the barrel, scope, scope mounting and the trigger. It's a Kreiger 18.5" sporter barrel. The scope is a Vortex Razor HD Gen II E 1-6x scope. The M25 receiver has the scope rail made into the receiver, so there's no external scope mount. The trigger is an unmodified GI trigger. I'll eventually install a SS adjustable match trigger though.

Tony.
