Re: 115gr. DTACs and Re22
I've used RL-22 for .243 (using 115 DTACs). I stopped when I got a few pounds of RL-25. The RL-22 worked well for me, and had no good reason to stop (other than I have more RL-25 and wanted to save the RL-22 for my 300 Win Mag). I don't remember all the specs, but worked my way up from 42 grains to about 44.5 grains (which was a bit too hot in my gun). I started to see pressure signs (primer pocket and primer cratering) when I reached about 3050 fps, using a 1 in 7-3/4 twist, out of a 26'' barrel. Rifle is an AW rebarreled for .243 (by Dave Tooley - great smith, great guy (and master of BBQ)). I now use 115DTACs (uncoated), with 46.2 grains of RL-25 with great results.
