To all,
Looking to try some 130 ELDM, and 130 Berger AR Hybrids s for a new M24 Bartlien barrel 1:8 for 6.5CM. Anyone had success with these? Please share results load data

Thanks

2910-2930 with Varget 2925-2950 with H4350 depending on temp , would have to check the files for ES & SD but I don't run anything with SD's over 8, usually around 4-6 is my normal with the brass prep I do. Don't overlook Varget for the 120-130 bullets. For my CM barrels the 130 @ 2950 or the 140 @ 2880 berger hybrids is about equal for dope. Usually run the 140's until the throat gets worn them switch to the 130's to get closer to the lands & fit the mags.

Man really appreciate that. I have a ton of Varget and believe in will start with 130s and Varget. It's time to get something with a bit more speed . I have had great success running the 140ELD s loading from a Dillon 650XL on 41.8gr H4350 around 2794fps. SDs in the 2-3s .they were consistent. I'll keep you posted on the results. Would you say there is any noticeable difference between the 2 ?( Spotting on vaper, reduced recoil....)

I can tell the difference, the varget is a fast sharp recoil pulse & H4350 is more of a push. My favorite practice load for the 6.5CM is varget & the 123 scenar. I have used it in a couple 2 day match's but a bunch of local match's including Jorge's. Perfect for Pala but looses a little due to wind past 1000. Now that H4350 isn't as hard to find not as big of an issue.
I'll PM you some load data, but don't like to post because I load on the warmer nodes.

Ryan I've had good luck with the Bergers with around 43gr H4350 & 39ish of varget both around .020 off the lands.
hi gentlemen, i've just started testing 130 gr edlm using both 2208 [varget] and 2209 [h4350] ,2209 gave better velosity and better es/ sd numbers, es of 4 , sd 1.8 over 43.0 gr scooted along at right on 2902 fps avg, me happy little camper, great forum heaps of data, thanks.

Try the Berger Ammunition 130 hybrids. I bought a box for my gas gun and it outshoots any of my handloads.

Have you shot them to distance? Competed with them?

I've tested both the 130 Hybrid and 130 ELD a lot in both 6.5x47L and 6.5cm... The node for both bullets has been 43.0-43.2gr in my 22" gasser. Both are extremely accurate.

hi, not yet as i'm just playing, still have 400 123gr lapua scenars to let off in our 500 mtr fly comp, but will definitely be giving these a good workout when i've gotten through, by the way my brand of stick is a 26" kreiger heavy varmint sporter barrel 1:8 tw screwed into a tikkat3 action sitting in a boyds thumbhole stock, this riffle started out as a 7mm-08 varmint chrome molly.

Not the same bullet, but I'm running 42.9 of Reloder 16 in 6..5 Creedmoor with both Berger 130 Hybrids and Norma 130 Golden Targets. Federal 210M primers, Prime brass. In a 24" Proof Research 1:8 twist.

Single digit SD's, velocity is 2920-ish, sub MOA jumping them .020". .001 or .002 neck tension

I use rl 16 with eldms, 2855 in lapua brass (42.2gr) from a 22" barrel w/ can. In peterson brass with same barrel 40.5gr gets me 2801, solid 3/8" loads. Love the 130s, have run a bunch of hhbrids in the past, never had problems with jumping either bullet.

What kind of velocity are you getting out of the 22” barrel?

I absolutely love the Berger 130 Hybrids out of my 6.5CM RPR. They don't seem to care how much they jump in my barrel, so I just load them to 2.800"

42.7gr of RL-16 in Starline brass is good for a mild 2850fps out of my 24" RPR barrel. During load development, I explored up above 2900, but groups opened up and bolt lift started getting a little draggy. My accuracy node was pretty wide between 2820-2880fps, so I settled on the middle at 2850fps. 1/4 MOA groups easily.
