For those of you running a 14.5" Creedmoor in an AR platform, whose barrels are you using.

Seems short for optimal performance. Is there a reason you are looking at 6.5 CM in that short a platform? Take a read on the UK's new sniper L129A2 in 6.5CM. I think they are using a 20" barrel, where the 7.62 model from a few years back was 16".

You'd probably need to have something custom made or chop down a longer barrel and have it rethreaded. Gas port sizing & location will be important too - you'll probably want an intermediate or rifle length location to keep it operating smoothly.

Craddock makes a 14.5” that so far has run great, but dont get the superlative gas block as the adjustment screw will interfere with muzzle device mounting. Have only used it suppressed so far but it is very nice to shoot. Also have a KAC 14.5 with QDC, but you may be waiting a long time to get one of those.
