Rifle Scopes $1500 Scope

I have been looking for a scope for my .308 I want a mil/mil, illuminated and first plane. I am really trying to stay around $1500. If I stay 10x I can get a USO ST10. I was thinking since I am already spending over 1k I might as well see if I can get a varible for a little more. Any suggestions

I havn't read a review yet ont the vortex viper pst. I saw nightforce nxs fl 3.5x15x50 but for 2290.

I have a SS 10x right now. I use the rig for hunting, target shooting more of a one for all rig.

takle a look at the IOR 2.5-10x40, it has all the features you want and a hair under $1300 at SWFA

Keep your eyes glued to the for sale forum! You may get lucky? Hell, a F1 sold on there the other day for 1750.00.

IOR is more than adequate glass and they have all the features you want in your price range.

Keep an eye out in the sale section for a second hand NXS, I have seen a few sell for around $1500 over the past month, and they looked brand new

The new IOR 3-18x50 is a really nice scope and is just over your cost requirements. Call Scott at Liberty Optics. For the price range you're talking about, short of a F1 used, the only other thing close is the Razor and it's a bit more. Call Scott. Problem solved.

Definitely keep an eye on the for sale forum.

I managed to pick up a US Optics SN3-S, 1.8x10x34 with Badger rings for $1450 earlier this year.

You can pick up a used Vortex Razor for roughly about that price or a new one for around 2 grand

As already stated, watch the for sale forum. I picked up an ST-10 for $1200 a few months ago. Be patient and keep your eye out.

I bought the F1 on here for $1750, with this being my first expensive scope, I must say it is very, very nice. NF does not cut any corners. I was constantly trading and upgrading my scope when I should have just bought the F1 to start with and save the headache, and the ammo sighting in scopes all the time.

I am not in a rush right now to buy a scope. I got 10 months before I'll place a order. Geting something for being me when I get back. So I got time to make a good decision. Is there a scope brand I need to stay away from with a muzzle brake?

Little over 1500 but the IOR 3.5-18x50 is sweet!

Leupold MK4 M5 4.5-14x50mm. I have been testing a 6.5-20x50mm and have been really happy with it.
