It's been a while (8 years) but the lawsuits are over and we won! North East Texas Tactical is open in Terrell, TX. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. It's open on weekends only right now. Magnetospeed target flashers out past 1k, full target lines every 100yds and freestanding targets every 100m, wind flags every 300yds, prone or bench options available, barricades and positional coming soon. NETT1500 on FB and nett_1500 on Insta or northeasttexastactical.com for membership info.

Congrats. These "neighbor" lawsuits are resulting in the casualties of many good ranges these days. Glad you guys won.

It's great to hear you finally won after all that time.
I'd totally forgotten about your range because it's been so long.

I think one of my relatives was at your first open day years and years back & may have also been a witness for you in the first court case that you won (and then I guess they appealed at like the last day for appeals or such?)

The only question I have is that your caliber restrictions seem a bit overly aggressive given that it's a 1500 yard range?
It seems from the rules that you wouldn't allow .300 PRC / .300 Norma or .338LM on the range?

Sorry, I must not have stated it clearly. Any "caliber" .30 and under is good to go. So 300WM, .300 PRC, .300 Norma, all good to go!

We just moved to Nacogdoches. Looking for a new place to shoot. How crowded does the firing line get on the weekends?

Actually goes to a mile now. Have yet to wait to shoot.
Nice place & staff.

To bad nothing bigger than .30 cal... Seems to me a 300 NM is potentially as big a problem as a 338 LM

Exciting news! Do you have a timeline on when it will open during the week and not just on the weekends?

I am looking for a place to stretch my legs while visiting family in Dallas over Thanksgiving. I was wondering if Northeast Texas Tactical would be a viable option. Can anyone give me some more info on this range?

Thanks,

T

I've been there a few times now. Great place and the owner is really nice and helpful. You have to buy a "membership" which is something like $75 for life and then on top of that price is the daily range fee which is $30 for the 100yd and pistol range or $60ish for the long range portion. You can buy a ~$15 day pass in lieu of the lifetime membership price if you're not going to be in the DFW area that often. If it's not too crazy busy Adam (the owner/operator) will help spot for you :) The targets are well maintained and the longer range targets have a flasher on them to help pick out hits/misses. Hope this helps!
