155 Lapuas

My gun shoots the FGM 168 under a half MOA. When I load the 155s. It shoots like shit. Here is my load.
46.6 grs Varget
Lapua brass
BR2 primers
155s
COL 28.26

Any suggestions.

I would say the 28.26 COL is your problem.

Try 46.2gr Reloder15 and keep everything els the same and see how it does. Varget shot like crap out of my Remmy 5R, but RE15 gives me .3" 5 shot groups at 100yds.

My load is

155 Scenar
Lapua brass necked to .002 neck tension
46.2 RE15
CCI BR2 primers
2.860 OAL.
2915 FPS out of my 24" factory barrel.

46.5gr RE15 gave me 2932ish fps


I just got done notching the feedramp on my rifle and I picked up a AccurateMag AICS magazine without the front plate so Im going to try seating them out to 2.920 with 46.7gr RE15 and see if they do better.

I have more room to seat them out farther. I will try that and use RL15. I will what that will do.

If that dosnt work try seating them deeper. Closer or touching isnt always better.
