Any of the above would be fine, mine is a 1 in 11. The more important consideration is how close can you get to the lands. If a custom build have it throated so you can seat bullet off the lands by .010 with out having excessive oal.

I have shot them in a AIAW 1/12 Boarder, AE 11.25 Schneider 5P and a SRS 1/10 Krieger 155 Lapua they are as long as a 185L, not SMK they have not worked for me, about 10,000 rds shot. They all shot sub MOA if I do my part, I have not be able to see any difference

run fast and 1/2 moa sometimes better out of my 1-10 twist. Using either IMR 3130 or IMR 8208 I am getting 2880-2890

The 155 will jump in many guns. I have seen it shot in several 5R's and 1:12's at mag length to good effect.

If you push them fast, or shoot in the warmer confines of the year, 1:12 is just fine.

If you are going to shoot 155'S only I would go 13 twist but if you are going to possibly shoot 168's to 175's the 12 twist would be better. I use Broughton 5c's and they work very well.

I just built a 308 for the 155s and the twist was 13. The gun wads them up. But if you are going to shoot heavier bullets. I would go with a 10 twist and have the wide range of bullets. My is strictly use in palma class.

I have a Schneider 610 on mine which is a 1:12. It shoots everything I have ever shot great... 175SMK and under. yes it is a MILSPEC M40a5 first SPEC run though

I have run your above load only with LC brass, had very good groups but was only going 2820 out of my 24" barrel, SD's were running low double digits, 12 to 15. Have switched to IMR 8208 and now getting 2900 with 43.5 gr. oal of 2.820 and SD's at 5 to 7. I haven't had good luck trying to jump the 155 Scenar, others have. I had this barrel throated for this specific bullet, fortunately it works for 175 SMK, and 185 Berger BT LR very well also.

My GAP TIS is a 1/11.25. With Lapua brass,Fed210 primers and 44.0 RL15 gives me .5moa at 300 yards and I doubt they are over 2800fps.That's loaded at 2.800" coal.

i run vv550 behind 2156 sierra palmas.48.5 grns. mag length win. case 210m primer out of my remmy r5.2850 fps .75-.50 moa.

For my .308's I run 1-11" in Krieger, Bartlein and Rock barrels with good results shooting 155 scenars.

the 11.25 works very well with the 155 scenars @ 2825fps. 22" barrel.

I'm wondering if the 1-12" can handle the 155 out to 1000... at least as well as a 11.27"? I know what it can do out to 500 and it stays in there very well.

I have had no problems shooting 1/12 AIAW with 155 Lapua ( note not 155 smk )8.4 Mils elevation sea level 80+F

I have a 1:12, 1:11.27 and at one time was running a 1:10". All will work. IF you are working on keeping a group at 1,000 yds the best node (this comes from a leading NCO at AMU) is to load so you obtain 2950 FPS. He says that works best with lapua & AMAX but will also get SMK's to stay tight. Since I don't shoot SMK, can't say but next 1,000 yd practice I will remember to take pics. One rifle has a 24" and another has a 30" , both are 1:11.27.
