Is this a significant move foreword? I have no resource to compare. I currently like and am well equipped with my NSX MOAR.

From my perspective, not knowing what your uses are etc:
If you’re currently happy with your NXS, I’d spend the money on ammo, etc
If you have a reason you’re considering updating optics, such as eyes getting worse, bored, just got a hankering for something new, etc, then my answer might be different.
If you dig your reticle and don’t have any problems with the NXS, I wouldn’t worry about it.

I need two more scopes.
Noticeably better glass and eye box could attract my interest.
Also not knowing about the coming 8x scopes and at the price point. Can those compare in these two basic caragories?

The glass is certainly noticeably better in the ATACR line.
I think right now we’re all waiting to see how the new NX8’s stack up, if they’re what everyone is hoping for, they’ll be a home run for NF.

If I was looking to upgrade, I’d seriously consider going to a FFP scope. Unless you really need the SFP based on what you do. The FFP’s are so much more versatile. IF you dial, or use any type of ranging with your scope, the versatility of FFP shines. Want to take a shot at 400 yds using holdovers? No issue: 1.7 mils is 1.7 mils no matter if you’re on 6X or 16X. On a SFP you have to be on top power to use that same holdover. Not as convenient if you want less power and more FOV.
Now, I may be all wet, because you may have your reasons for rocking a SFP. If so: rock on.

Also, the NF NX8 line will be shipping next month. You’re looking at a 2.5-20, and a 4-32 both illuminated, and FFP.
My 2.5-20 will go on my 6.5CM has gun. ??
