    16” 6.5CM Howa 1500 - $600 shipped for barreled action Sold

    Rifle specs:
    16.38” 1:8” 6.5 Creedmoor Howa 1500
    McMillan A3 stock
    Howa bottom metal
    Badger Ordnance bolt knob
    Talley 20 moa base

The rifle started as a 24” varmint/heavy barreled action, and was sent to LRI to have the bolt fluted and barrel cut to 16.38” & threaded 5/8”-24. The bolt handle was threaded (5/16”-24) locally and the entire barreled action was bead-blasted & parkerized after it returned from LRI. It has exactly 180 rounds through it, ~50/50 before and after it’s trip to LRI. It has a Badger Ordnance bolt knob installed and a 20 moa Talley picatinny base. The stock is a McMillan A3 (un-bedded) w/ the factory Howa hinged-floor plate bottom metal — I also have an extra complete bottom metal that’s included. The rifle shoots great — .75 moa @ ~2480 fps w/ Hornady AG & <.5 moa w/ Hornady 147 ELD @ ~2450 fps. Its in great condition and the only flaws are some brass rash on the action and a finish mark on the barrel where I dropped something on it, both are only cosmetic and pictured in the album.

hey question about the stock...did you have to cut down the metal mag box to get the bottom metal to fit?
