16” barrel with rifle length gas system in 308

Has anyone messed around with a 16” 308 running a rifle length gas system? I’ve got a falkor barrel sitting around that’s rifle length gas system and getting close to finishing the build. I’m just trying to see if there is any insight or known issues.

Any weird issues or anything? I’ve heard the whole AR10 platform isn’t exactly plug and play like it’s smaller brother with the gas system being on of the main issues.

My Noveske 16" rifle gas is great. Runs with and without a can with no issues.

Good to hear, I’m hoping my build runs with out a hitch since in theory I shouldn’t be over gassed. I can build a badass bolt gun, but gassers aren’t really my realm of knowledge.

What Barrel is that? I like that set up.

Criterion heavy taper built for ADM, 1-10 twist. Nitrided stainless, chambered for M118LR.
