Hi Guys, first I like to thank you all for tons of good information I've got from this site. I have yet another Dilima that needs your kind advises.

I'm getting ready to purchase a CMMG SASS Upper for my complete DPMS Lower. I'm set on getting the Hammer Forged Barrel Uppers they have. However I'm still Debating wether I should get the 16" or 18" Barrel. How much Velocity/Accuracy will I lose with the 16" vs 18"??? They're the Same Price Either way, and my purpose for this rifle is within 800 Meters. I have my Bolt Guns for Longer Range Works. I'd really like this gun to be compact yet accurate, but I don't know if the 2 inches extra length would really effect or make a different size wise vs Accuracy & Velocity Loss. Please let me know what you guys think? Thanks in Advance!

I would go with the 18 inch, 2 extra inches do not make that great a difference for carrying and handling but will make hitting slightly easier for the longer ranges
hope this helps.
