I've been shooting 167 Scenars in my 308 and they shoot great. I've been shooting 208 Amax's in my 300WM but am almost out. Anyone have any idea about how the Scenars will do in my 300. Is it worth giving up on the Amax and shooting the Scenars in both guns, or am I better of leaving the 300 as a safe queen till Hornady makes more Amax's.

I shoot 168 nosler and sierras out of my 300 win mag all the time and they work fine. I don't see why you couldn't get a 167 scenar to shoot out of it. Mine is a 26" 1:10 twist btw and I think (not sure but would have to check) that I was using a 68 grain imr4350 load for them.
What is your 308 load with 167 scenars?

I'm using 44.3 of VV N150 for 167 Scenar out of my FN A3G, and able to get it to shoot about .3" groups at 100yds. I'm presently shooting 71.1g H1000 for my 300 with the 208 Amax.
