Thought I would post the results of my favorite load for my .308. I have had close to this load before, bud different brass, and primers. I wanted to find out what my velocity of this load was so I zeroed at 80 yards(thats all I had at time of zero), and shot with that same zero at 250 yards so i can measure the inches that it would drop, then use JBM Ballistics to find the velocity. The drop at 250 yards was "11, so according to JBM the velocity is 2450 fps. This load on my good days is always sub .5 MOA

Load
fire formed Lapua brass trimmed to 2.008
CCI BR2 primers
168g SMK HPBT bullets seated to 2.800
42.0g of IMR4064

Rifle
Remington 700 SPS Tactical
.308
B&C Medalist Varmint/Tactical stock
SS 10x42 scope
Warne 20 MOA base

What was your velocity for that load? I have never used a chronograph, I would like to see how my method using JBM really works.
