I have run them somewhere in the ballpark of 45 grains of Varget, in Lapua brass, Fed210M primers, in a remington 700P.
Temps here range from around 10-35 degrees celcius.

Seated very close to the lands, 43.8 grains of varget out of lapua brass with cci standard primers.

Mmmm just my 0.02 but if its an autoloader, I would try the 175smk as I believe it would be less sensitive to seating depth compared to a VLD.

You should be able to get them to mag length. I think SAAMI is 2.80" OAL.
I shoot 45 grains Varget with them in a bolt gun. You will want to start around 43.5 and work up I would think.

Try 42.6 grains of hogden 4895 o.L. 2835 shot 5 shot group at 200 yds.7/8 in. outside to outside out of my gap crusader .308 extremely low velocity spread and not temperature sensitive.

I use H4895 in my 18.5" 308 bolt gun with suppressor. It is very capable of being highly accurate. But I am only hitting 2600 FPS with the short barrel and 175's.

I have a question... why would anyone run the Berger 175 VLD's when the Berger 175 gr BT Long Range has a higher G7 BC and to beat, is a tangent bullet, so likely to be less finicky.
Just curious as I just pulled the trigger on some Berger 185 BT long Ranges today. I have been running 175 SMK's.

My answer is because I hunt and the VLD is available with a hunting jacket......the BT bullet is not.
