178 AMAX in .308Win, Jump or Jam?

Never loaded AMAX do they like to be jumped or jammed and how much? Going in a custom short barreled .308 1:10 twist. I have Varget, H4895 and IMR-4895 on hand. Thanks.

I jump .010 with my 178 Amax in my 20" Savage 10fp. .25 MOA at 100 yards if I do my part.

IME I like to keep the jump under 0.050". Anything over that and they don't shoot well for me.

Tikka Varmint with 178gr Amax liked a .040" jump with 43gr. of Varget. While working up a load form starting to ending I averaged .663" for 6 3 shot groups.
