I have a 1903 made in 1934 the barrel has what seems to be a very slight bulge right were the bullet would be in the chamber. It is very uniform the whole way around the barrel. Is this a normal taper or something? It is a small enlarged ring that I only
Noticed when I looked at the rifle against light and saw the imperfection in the glare then began to inspect very closely. Should I be concerned and have it checked? Or is the barrel just subject to bad CC from the 30's, and fine to shoot.

If you're ever unsure about the safety of a rifle, get it checked, but how does it compare to this? Pics on your end would be helpful.
