How thick are your necks after this?

He might be asking why you felt it necessary to anneal the brass.
If it was unfired, there would be no need to anneal. If it had been fired in a normal chamber you'd be close to size already. Even in a TNT, you are only talking about .020" or so.

I am not turning necks I dont need to. I shoot a 140g Berger VLD the necks are all .297 or less.

I am using LC match brass in one rifle and lupua in the other both 308 necked down.

What length do you trim to? .260 is 2.025", .308 is 2.005"
