So I got a question for you guys. I’m currently running a Khales i624k in Spuhr Rings on an Impact 6.5CM. As you know the Impact has 20 MOA built into the action. With that set up, I can dial 16 mils of elevation, which allows me to dial elevation to around 1450 or so. What I’m wondering is if I go with a 20 MOA Spuhr Mount in addition to the 20 MOA in the action, that will get me an additional 5.8 mils of elevation or so for a total of 22 Mils of elevation. That gets me int the ball park of 1750 or so depending on DA.

Is anyone running this set up and if so, do you have trouble dialing down for a 100 a zero?
    Appreciate the insight guys.

You should be fine but the easiest way is turn the turret down since you are already setup on the rifle. That will tell you how much adjustment you have before you bottom out your scope.

    I run a 20moa Spuhr on a 20moa base without issue with a PM2.

The Kahles you have is listed has having 25.5mils of elevation so it should work. You have 16mils up currently. If the specs are right you *should* have 9.5mils below your zero.

If you do go that route I would suggest storing your rifle with the elevation set 9- 10 or so Mils up. This will keep your erector springs from being compressed close to the limit of travel. And put you close to the center of erector travel.

Perfect. That’s good info. Appreciate it!
