I have been trying to find a 16.5" AAC-SD .308 since I first heard rumors of it being made. I however can't find one to save my life. The question is should I just suck it up and buy the 20" and maybe cut it down later or hold out for the 16.5"? I am looking to make the ultimate truck/back pack rifle rig. Optic wise a 4x16x40/50mm is what I am looking into. I will be throwing a 9" can on the end from time to time.
