Provided the barrel nut has a hole or notch for the gas tube, start at 35 and slowly work your way up until the gas tube hole lines up perfectly. Do not go over 75 or 80. If it's a new barrel nut, use a moly lubricant on the threads and torque it three times before final to stretch the threads.
This is really more or less a general rule of thumb due to the gas tube.
The sweet spot is "usually" around 55 or 60 but I've seen them go to 70-75
