Getting ready to start shooting in a new barrel. 1/10 Hart .308 Win. Bought a few hundred rounds 200, 208, and 210 gr bullets. Seating all first loads .05 off lands. With the 208 and 210 bullets seating to mag length isn't going to happen.
The 200 gr SMK ogive is way forward. OAL 2.850, with .05 bullet jump. Haven't loaded a bullet this short in 10 years, and it sure looks funny with all that weight right in the nose of the bullet. I hope these bullets shoot, be nice to load from a magazine for once.
