Hey guys what's everyone opinion on 2000mr vs cfe223 with the .308 155 target hybrid? And what kind of load data you guys have on them?

Re: 2000mr vs cfe223

Shooter,

They are the same podwer, made by St Marks in Florida for Alliant and Hodgon.

Hodgon's website has far more useful loading information....use that as your guide.

The loads listed on Alliant;s website are actually not max loads. I've just about finished load development, and i've settled on 47.5gr + 178AMAX...i went up to 48.5gr w/o pressure signs, but as always: START LOW AND WORK-UP LOOKING FOR PRESSURE SIGNS.

I've heard for years that WW748 and BLC-2 were the same powder. No proof here though. It wouldn't suprise me though.
