I'm pretty sure they are made at the Leupold factory in the north west, I think it's Oregon.

They use to be? but hear by rumor since the company was bought out that either completely made in Japan or assembled here in USA of japan's parts? but either way good quaitl scope just so new was curious if anyone had one they had played with for any time period.

Nope made here in USA it was made for a specific military contract and is Berry compliant like other mark 8. Leopold is a family owned business.

As for the new Mark 8's, I don't think they're out on the civilian market yet. If anyone has a full review of them other than a touch and feel from SHOT, I'd love to read a writeup on them. Drop a link please.
By the way, they need the TMR in them if they expect my money.
