On behalf of the organizers I'd like to extend an invitation to all F-Class shooters to attend this year's Eastern Canada F-Class Championships. This will be our 3rd annual event, and it is being shot at Connaught Ranges in Ottawa, ON from June 29th - July 1st.
For those of you who may not be familiar with Connaught, it is widely viewed as one of the finest 1000y ranges in the world and was the site of the first ever F-Class World Championships. Connaught will also be hosting the 2017 World Championships, so this is a great opportunity to come out and learn the range in a more relaxed setting. The range is about an hour north from the NY (Ogdensburg) border.
While we typically draw most of our shooters from the eastern provinces we do get a few folks coming up from the US every year, and we would certainly like to host more American shooters. The event has divisions for F-Open and F-TR and is shot Bisley-style (no string shooting); markers are included in the match fees so that competitors don't have to pull targets.
