The ability to file metal and use simple hand tools is a requirement for this class. Day one of the class is not the time to realize how much metal a dremel can remove. Filing flat is a learned skill, and the more competent you are at filing, the more you will get out of the course. A good way to practice is to take odd shapes of metal and make it flat with a file. The better you are with a file, the more you will be able to learn during the class.

Students will be responsible for the course tuition, as well as the purchase of the Caspian slide/frame, all parts and the appropriate tools. Prior to the course, you should have read, and be very familiar with both of Jerry Kuhnhausen’s books on the 1911.

So many others look forward to a 'week in the sun' or whatever as a holiday, whereas THIS is much more to my version of Utopia. If Only..... (damn "international" laws....)

And to make matters even more of a tease, my Lady would be right there, building hers as well. Excellent offering, Frank.
