Hunting & Fishing 2016 world championship in African Hunting shooting.

Came from South Africa there is a shootingcompetition that focus on the skills needed for hunting in africa but it's a great way of competing and unlike PRS it's not really a geargame.
That said, anything becomes a geargame but they banned use of electronics, bipods, bags etc.
Maximum distance is 450 meters.

Targets are either african game or metalplates.
shootingposition can be anything!

The african targets are great gun, usally brain gives 10-30 o while nose gives minus 15...

next world championships are in South Africa 2018 and I hope to see a few Americans there then

That looks like it would be a blast to do. Hunting in Africa was amazing and the practicality of this type of match (the odd position in the last pic notwithstanding) is really intriguing.

I guess it's a Plains/small game hunting comp, as I'd like to see someone shoot in the last pic's position with a 458 win mag, or any of the big bore rifles in that position ?
