Welcome to the 2018 Mason Dixon Precision Rifle Series.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/MDPRS/

The 2018 Mason Dixon Precision Rifle Series will consist of nine matches and a finale. Three matches will be held at the Mayberry Game Protective Association in Westminster MD, three matches at the New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club in Gap PA, two matches at the University Rifle Club in Reading, PA, and one at the Shippensburg Fish and Game Assoc. The finale will be held at Mayberry.

Each match will present a unique and challenging course of fire including steel, paper and reactive targets as well as movers, some physical challenges and various props. Mayberry's range offers targets out to 600 yards, NHRPC to 700 yards, University to 600 yards, and Shippensburg to 800. All ranges are limited to calibers up to .308 Winchester and a velocity of 3150 fps.

There will be 3 shooting divisions: Open, DMR, and Production.

-Production-rifle and optics meeting the requirements set forth by the PRS rules (precisionrifleseries.com)
-DMR-semi-auto rifle chambered in 223/5.56
-Open-all the rest

Matches are scored on a curved scoring model. Series points will be determined by dividing your score for the match by the match winner's score. We will use each shooter's 3 best scores to determine eligibility for the finale, with at least one score coming from Mayberry and NHRPC (shooting a match at University is NOT a requirement). The final standings for the series will be the total of your 3 best match scores and the finale score. You must compete in the finale to be eligible for series awards.
To qualify for the finale, a shooter must meet one of the following criteria.

1. Win a match
2. Finish the season in the top 20 of the Open division
3. Finish the season in the top third of the DMR or Production divisions

Qualifying matches will be open to approximately 40 competitors with a match fee of $50. Registration will be handled through Practiscore. When you register for matches throughout the season, we ask that you use the same email address each time. This is how we will identify each shooter and will make it much easier for us to track ongoing scores.
