Anybody using the 208 amax's in a 300rum, just ordered some to try in the new 300rum, but can't find any data to get started, i'll be using retumbo, any help would be great, thanks
I'm in the same boat. I've been shooting the 200gr Accubonds, but they are a little expensive for shooting rocks. Theres six boxes of 208's on my bench waiting to get loaded. I am using 95gr Retumbo with a CCI250 with the Accubonds. I think I would start with about 92gr and work up.
You can use 220 SMK data and work up. I used to use that when there was no data for the 210 VLD in my 300WM. I also used to look at the 200grn data and the 220grn data and work out the basic average. It worked too. When i switched to the 208 AMAX I just used the 210 VLD data and it worked great.
Hopefully someone can give you some more specific data though.
