208 Amax ladder tests

I shot a ladder test with 208 amax with both TAC and Big Game today, but I could only shoot at 200 yards. Wanted to see if everyone agree with results. The rifle is a Remington SPS Tactical AAC-SD with 20" 1 in 10 barrel.

First Was 208 amax with Ramshot TAC, Rem 9.5 primers, lapua brass, seated to COL of 2.830

39.8 - 2389 fps
40.2 - 2455 fps
40.6 - 2415 fps ( misread by chrono ? )
41 - 2442 fps
41.4 - 2478 fps
41.8 - 2506 fps
42.2 - 2510 fps
42.6 - 2539 fps
43 - 2549 fps
43.4 - 2569 fps

Here is target, I am thinking (40.2 - 41) and (42.2 - 43 maybe)

Next was Ramshot Big Game with Lapua Brass, Rem 9.5 primers, COL of 2.830

43 - 2347 fps
43.4 - 2364 fps
43.8 - 2364 fps
44.2 - 2372 fps
44.6 - 2398 fps
45 - 2419 fps
45.4 - 2437 fps
45.8 - 2450 fps
46.2 - 2469 fps
46.6 - 2487 fps

Here is the target looks like (44.2 - 44.6) and (45.8 - 46.2)

Think I will play with the TAC loads since I have 8 pounds of this that I don't use for anything since I got rid of AR -15

The velocity looks supect on the TAC 40.6. I would reload from 40.0 to 41.2 in 0.2gn increments and re-run to verify. Are you trickeling charges to ensure as accurate as possible or throwing? For the initial R&D like this, I would certainly trickel each and every charge to verify consistancy as best you can.

Is 43.4 the max load per the book, just as high as you loaded or did you stop due to pressure signs? Looks like it might be coming into another node. Yo might see what 43.2 and 43.6 gets you if things appear to be safe.

no I didn't trickle, just dumped and weighed til charge was right. 43.4 gave a lil ejector swipe and slight sticky bolt.
