208gr 300 WM speeds

Shot a 1000yd match recently using 208 gr amax's out of my 300 win mag. It resulted in a come up of 24.25 moa. When I put this data in a ballistics program it said i was running about 2925 fps. Its a newly built rifle and I had never shot anything past 100 yds before and never chronographed my rounds, just watched for pressure signs and found a fairly small grouping load.

Is this a respectable speed or should I dial it back a bit? What speed are others running using this combo?

I was right at your MV with 79.5 gr of H1000 with CCI Br2 Primer. slight bit of crunch with no pressure signs. Try out the 230GR Berger or 225 Gr Hornady. If you can get it to about 2750 FPS you will be supersonic past 1500 yards.

I'm using H1000 (76.2gr) with REM 9 1/2 Mag primers out of a 30 in barrel
