So I took a 20moa rail off of my 700 AX chassis and put the AI 20moa rail and handguard rail on. The scope was zeroed at 100 yards before so i figured it would be off a little when I resighted it but it was off about 11 inches high. So I guess I wonder why, the new rail is only about a quarter of an inch taller than the old one. Is a quartee inch on the gun really 11 inches that far out? So how does a 20 moa cant really work, since the scope and rifle are on different axis' is there a math conversion for range adjustments?

Re: 20moa Rail

As long as you were fine horizontally I wouldn't worry about it. If you were 11" high, all that means is you got more dope adjustments for shooting wayyyy out there. As far as your adjustments are concerned, .25 moa per click at 100 is .25 moa at 100. It shouldnt affect your shots at distance when doping your scope
