Can you tell me what size is your chamber is ? I am having a rifle built in 308 long action and wanted to shoot 208 Amax and 215 Bergers ,also what twist rate is your barrel , thank you geoff3

the chamber is a 308 match by PTG, 1-11" twist barrel, winchester brass, 47.0 of 2000 mr

Have you tried Varget with those, I bought a box but don't have any 2000

I was considering giving 2000-MR a try in my 308s, with the 208 AMax. Could you share your velocity with 47.0gr, and bbl length.

it is a 30" barrel, didn't have a chronograph
48.0 gives me 2700 fps with 208 a-max FL sized winchester brass

2000-MR is one of the few powders I've seen in town. I think most folks aren't too sure where to use it.

I shoot the 208 Amax using 48.0 gr. of MR 2000 and I get 2625 FPS. Rifle is Savage 110FP with 1:10 twist and 24" barrel.

What is your COAL with that load? 48 grain is very tight/compress?

I went to the range today and shot some over my chrony. 2700 fps at see level is what I got. COL is 3.170. not compressed at all.
