Win Brass
R&P Brass

IMR4064
Varget
H380
H414

Nosler 50gr Spitzer
Nosler 52gr Ballistic Tip
Nosler 52gr BTHP
Hornady 52gr BTHP

CCI Large Rifle Primers
Federal 210 Primers

Re: .22-250 load suggestion

I like 39grns H380 and 55grn Speer Sp and a CCi Lrg Rifle Primer. Play with oal.

Re: .22-250 load suggestion

52gr Nosler BTHP, Win neck sized brass, 36.5gr of IMR-4064 with Fed 210M primers and an OAL of 2.245".

Re: .22-250 load suggestion

40 grns H380, GM215M, 55 gr NBT or Blitzking. I get close to 3600 fps in a 21" Model 7 Custom. Great varmint round. I back off to 39 grns behind 60 Partitions for "doe busters".

Re: .22-250 load suggestion

39.0 grs. of H380 behind anything from 52 to 55 grs. My rifle loved the Hornaday Vmax's and SMK's. Nothing will flow as easy as H380 through a powder measure either. These loads would run anywhere from 3600 to 3650 fps out of a 24" barrel, depending on temperatures.

Varget: 36.2gr
H. 55gr V-Max
RP brass
CCI 200

Oh, and this is from my Rem 700 VSF
MV around 3680fps

I've played around with H414 a bit but haven't settled on a load yet. This was with 52gr SMKs

Re: .22-250 load suggestion

Win brass, 52SMK, 36.0gr Varget. Ruger 77VT, accuracy is peerless, shooter seeing my 200yd targets thought they were shot at 100yd.

Re: .22-250 load suggestion

Thanks guys. I loaded H380 from 38.0gr to 41.0gr and Varget from 34.0gr to 36.0gr. I used 52gr Nosler Custom Competition bullets, Winchester brass and CCI primers. The best groups were 36.0gr of Varget at .3303" and 34.5gr Varget at .3689". The tighest load of H380 was 38.5gr at .3935"

Greg, I have the same rifle and it loves the same load. How far off the lands are you loading? Mine did not seem to care.
