There are tons of sellers via Backpage in Phx. I would expect the same in any large market. I have no trouble finding it online.

Yeah, going to have to break down and try the online options.
Every LGS and Wally World still report getting hardly any .22 of any sort any week, and it's always all gone in an hour.
I still want to know WHO is getting all the stuff. Factories are running full-tilt, but the retailers are still getting less than half of what they used to, half as often. That little getting on the shelves would sell out in a few days even without perpetual panic buying.

Dick's Sporting Goods in St. George, UT had a ton of CCI standard velocity 500 rd boxes on the shelf yesterday. They wanted $40 per box though. I don't know if they will do a phone order or not.
who would have ever believed damn 22lr would be the hardest thing to find. its the only caliber i have yet to come across on the shelf
That is because it is a low profit margin item for the makers. I see a lot of premium 22 lr come available like CCI Velicitor but hardly ever see any of their cheaper stuff. Velicitor is good stuff but at almost $60 a box, it's pricy.
