.22 Hornet Bolt Head size?

Will a Remington .223 bolt cycle .22 Hornet cartridges, safely and properly of course?

I doubt it. The Hornet head spaces on the rim and the .223 head spaces on the shoulder.

The 221 Fireball is pretty sweet if you just want different.
The K Hornet has had my interest for awhile as well.
