Should have bought one of these earlier. Got some good range time in today and got to practice a lot longer than usual. Went a little overboard and shot 500 rounds of .22 and 300 rounds of .40 S&W. Best part of the day was practicing firing and moving to cover at the same time.

If any one is on the fence about buying one. I say go for it.

For those who want to know. I have a SIG 299 .40 S&W with a .22lr conversion. Shot Fiocchi 22HVCHP with only 3 FTL.

Re: .22 LR conversions

I have rimfire conversions for most of the favorites I own and regularly shoot:

AR-15 (M261 kit)
M16 (KPF dedicated upper and LM7 beltfed upper)
MP5 (Fleming kit)
Uzi (Vector kit)
M11/9 (Lage kit)
TSMG (new BDM kit)
Glock (AA kit)
1911 (Marvel kit)

Now if I could just a rimfire conversion kit for the M60E4, that would be cool!

Re: .22 LR conversions

I have a Sig P220 that I bought as the 22 LR, and then bought the 45 conversion kit from Sig. It's a great shooter in both calibers. I really like the fact that the 45 conversion kit came with the night sights. I also have a CMMG 22 LR conversion kit for the AR-15 but have never used it since I have the S&W 15-22 and the Sig 522.

Re: .22 LR conversions

I have .22 conversions for a few of my weapons.

CMMG for AR
Advantage Arms for G27, G20, and 1911

They fun to shoot and still maintain the feel of the trigger of the weapon.

I'm very pleased with mine.

Re: .22 LR conversions

I've got a Marvel too and I haven't had a problem with it. Feeds almost anything and very accurate.
My only complaint would be that while the sights are very nice and adjustible I wish that they were a little lower because they are too tall to fit in some of my holsters with the conversion on.
