I might already have the answer, but I dunno if I have missed anything. A while back my friend's dad gave him his old .22 magnum Marlin. We were out shooting one day and it started to fail to grab the case. Had to work it out with the tip of a knife. Each round after that was the same, and split 3/4 of the length. I can remember shooting this rifle as far back as when we were 12. Never had this issue as I recall. So a little research led me to believe either the chamber has become oversized or ammo with a bad batch of brass. Is there any other possibilities that can explain this? Thanks in advanced.
