223 ai upper

Re: 223 ai upper

Shooter65,

No personal experience, but I do remember a thread about the 223ai in a semi. A couple of smith's chimed in and stated "ackleys would tend to have feeding issues". I am pretty sure I remember this correctly.

Mine were all in a 1/14" with lighter bullets. I can check with my buddy he shot 69smk in his with Varget I think (1/9). It's been a long time since I've loaded any. I think it was about 1.5 gr.over max load. I used Benchmark with a compressed load with 40 and 50 Vmax.

Good to know I've wanted to build a 6mm TCU in an AR platform but was afraid of forming brass in the AR wouldn't work.
