I wanted to test out some new ammo I bought before I get my new 26 inch kreiger barrel. All at 100 yards out of my colt AR Match Target 2. with 16 inch barrel, 1 in 9 twist. Wasnt my best shooting, but I think it does a pretty good job showing the differences between the ammo in this barrel. I didnt spend the time to dial in the scope much, so my groups are off on most from my aiming point.

Silver State Armory Ammunition 5.56x45mm (223 Remington) 77 Grain Sierra MatchKing Hollow Point Box of 20

.223 Hornady Match 75 Grain Boat Tail Hollow Point 75 Grain 20 Rounds per Box

Thanks for the info. Were those velocities (2750 with the 77s) what you chronographed, or published by the ammo maker? i just ask because I am only getting 2650 (chronographed)from the 77s in my 16" Bushy, with my handloads which are running around 58K pressure.

I just posted the info from where I purchased the ammo. I did not chronograph any of the ammo.

The remington flat out was the worst ammo I have ever shot, and the most expensive of them all. I am hoping they will be 100% different with my new barrel.

In my current barrel, I believe the Hornady, Federal and Fiocchi shot the best.
