I upgraded my 223 dies to the Redding competition die set. I will be loading for a mag fed setup 75g into an accurate mag and a single shot savage target action.

I will be using lapua brass for the single shot to shoot f/tr and varmint matches. The barrel is setup for 90g vld’s. I will be using a neck bushing die and a body die.

For the mag fed rifle I will be using LC brass. Does anyone have any suggestions if I should use a bushing setup or just stick with a Fl die.

You can get an S-type FL Redding and it will do anything you need for either rifle.

Lapua will want a 0.245" bushing, maybe a 0.246". Lake City was always very good at either 0.243" or 0.244". All with no expander ball in place.

But truthfully, an FL Redding will let you load 1/4 MOA ammo or better...I recognize that F-Class is pretty tough, but are you legitimately holding 1-2" at 1,000?
